I read to the point when they reach the Islands in search of the Dragon. I think I'll actually have a chance to finish it tonight. So far, I enjoy the language of the book but I agree with AnSionnachRua that it isn't exactly captivating. I recall you (kuli) having a conversation here about how the characters weren't that captivating and that you didn't have an emotional connection with them. So far, I would agree with this. From my perspective thus far, Tim is the most interesting character and this is only because he is such a little shit. Dan Rymer is starting to become more interesting as a character too. Still, I'm not terribly motivated to continue. I'll see how much I can knock out tonight.
