I guess I'll play devil's advocate and say I'm not really a fan. Stylistically, the top navigation area seems a bit more cluttered to me now. Functionally, I don't like that when I'm in a post, I no longer have the "global feed" links accessible to me.

Really, I don't have any strong feelings about it, it just seems like a minor step back. But that's just me, and I'm sure it relates directly to how each user uses Hubski.

TBH I have thought about the issues you have mentioned, and explored a few different formats before settling on this. You might have noticed that the narrow top bar has become more or less universal in feeds. In some respects, the global links break the functional organization of this menu; information goes on the left, yet the right is a bit less well-defined. It's mostly functional links like follow and ignore, and now these navigation links.

It's good, but not great, and is something that I'll be looking to improve as we progress.

As for the navigational hierarchy of placing global within the feed and chatter, I understand that it is a bit less convenient for some types of use. I'm not saying that the effect on navigation is intentional, but the effect is has upon conceptual hierarchy is.

Thanks for the thoughts.
